Study guide from a syllabus or set of course materials
Build a study guide for exam_or_topic based on the source materials below. I want this organized for actual studying, not just a reformatted table of contents.
Source materials/topics covered: source_materials_list
Exam format if known (multiple choice, essay, problem sets): exam_format
Do this:
1. Group topics by conceptual relationship, not just the order they were taught in, related ideas that were taught weeks apart should be studied together if they connect.
2. For each major topic, distinguish: facts to memorize, processes to be able to execute, and concepts to be able to explain/apply in a novel scenario, these need different study methods and I want to know which is which.
3. Flag the 2-3 topics most likely to be tested that also tend to be commonly confused with each other (if this material has any classic confusion pairs, name them specifically and clarify the actual distinction).
4. Based on the exam format given, tell me which study method fits best per topic (flashcards for pure recall items, practice problems for process items, practice essay outlines for application items), don't recommend the same method for everything.
5. Give me a suggested study order and rough time allocation across topics, weighted toward what's both important and currently likely weak (ask me which topics I feel weakest on if I haven't told you, don't assume).
